昨天无意中发现一碟很好的英文经典歌集,如获至宝,其中有一首天堂泪是老年得子的Eric Clapton写给他不幸夭折的四岁的儿子的,现截选下来,大家一起欣赏:

Eric Clapton在西洋乐坛素有"吉他之神"的美誉。五十多岁方育得一子，由于保姆的失误，年仅4岁的岁爱子从纽约数十层高的公寓阳台意外摔下身亡，Eric Clapton伤痛之余，写下此曲，以纪念亡儿.这个打击几乎让他再度一蹶不振，不过将近50岁的Eric Clapton将他思念之苦寄情歌中，于是产生"Tears in heaven "这首歌，它首先被收录于电影《迷途枷锁》(Rush)的原声带中，这也是Eric Clapton全程参与的配乐作品。 在1992年发行单曲后很快得到白金唱片并蝉联亚军，同年3月份他录制MTV音乐台相当受欢迎的不插电小型演唱会（Unplugged）时再度表演此曲。
