Abstract(摘要)
We will first review the history and some results of QR decomposition. Then we study an application in signal processing. In radio, multiple-input and multiple-output, or MIMO, is the use of multiple antennas at both the transmitter and receiver to improve communication performance. A general MIMO system is modeled as a linear regression. We will discuss two different approaches: (1) successive cancellation detection using QR decomposition and (2) optimally ordered detection with equal-diagonal QR decomposition.
