I have checked the SOA website to find the answers to tell the students who want to take the exams of SOA, and already mailed SOA too. Questions: 1 Is there an age limit for students who want to take the SOA exam? 2 Do students need qualifications to apply? If so, which do they need? 3 Students from China can apply for financial assistance, could you please tell me how, and by what date they should apply. Answers of above questions from SOA: 1. There is no age limit for students taking the SOA exam. 2. There are no qualifications necessary to apply. 3. You can go to the following link for information on the discount: http://www.soa.org/eande/examdiscount_program.html The registration deadlines are April 1 for the Spring session and September 24 for the Fall session. Their applications need to be in our office by those days. The new catalog becomes available on our website in May for the Fall session and in November for the Spring session. As soon as the catalog is available with the new applications, the students may send in their applications. If they are requesting the discount, they should begin as soon as possible. They will need to be approved for the discount and then a special application will be sent to them to fill out and mail in. Applications must be mailed or sent by overnight courier as we need the students original signatures. Faxed applications will not be accepted.
